Dyslexia Action is a national charity and the UK’s leading provider of services and support for people with dyslexia and literacy difficulties.

 

The site includes plenty of well proven, practical advice for any parent (or grandparent) whose children, schooled or otherwise, need help with the basics of the three R’s. Primary teachers, SENCos, Basic Skills tutors, in fact anyone involved with teaching or remediating reading will also find the content useful.

 

An American professional membership organization promoting high literacy levels for all. Aimed at classroom teachers, reading specialists, consultants, administrators, supervisors, university faculty researchers, psychologists, librarians, media specialists, and parents. Includes literacy and education links, awards and grants, publications and journals.

 

NCFL is a nonprofit organization. It supports family literacy services for families across the United States through training, programming, research, advocacy and dissemination.
