(Scroll down for English) Giovedì 24 giugno 2021, gli alunni della Scuola Primaria hanno avuto l’opportunità di approfondire, attraverso diverse attività ludiche, qual è il ruolo delle istituzioni dell’Unione Europea e che impatto hanno sull’evoluzione democratica della nostra società. L’evento è stato organizzato  per gli studenti delle P4 e P5 e si è svolto in diverse lingue: italiano, inglese e francese.

Quest’esperienza, unica nel suo genere, è stata possibile grazie alla collaborazione ed alla partecipazione dell’Ufficio del Parlamento europeo a Milano, che, attraverso una delegazione guidata da Maurizio Molinari, direttore dell’Ufficio, ha avuto l’occasione di conoscere la Scuola Europea di Varese.

L’evento svolto rappresenta, infatti, l’inizio di un percorso educativo destinato a promuovere lo spirito europeo all’interno dell’istituto scolastico varesino nell’anno della Conferenza sul futuro dell’UE. Nel corso del prossimo anno scolastico, saranno previsti diversi momenti di approfondimento e di sensibilizzazione verso le tematiche europee che renderanno ancor più consapevoli e solidali i futuri cittadini dell’UE.

Discovering the European institutions

On Thursday, June 24, 2021, the Primary School students had the opportunity to deepen, through various playful activities, their understanding of the role of the institutions of the European Union and what impact they have on the democratic evolution of our society. The event was organized for the students of P4 and P5 and was held in different languages: Italian, English and French.

This unique experience was made possible thanks to the collaboration and participation of the European Parliament Office in Milan, which, through a delegation led by Maurizio Molinari, Director of the Office, had the opportunity to get to know the European School, Varese.

The event held represents the beginning of an educational path intended to promote the European spirit within the Varese school in the year of the Conference on the future of the EU. During the next school year, there will be several moments of deepening and awareness of European issues that will help form more aware and more supportive future citizens of the EU.
